What is Ricoh’s Smart Device Connector App?
Ricoh’s Smart Device Connector app is a free download for Apple and NFC-compatible Android smart devices that provides an easier and faster way to send documents for printing and collect scanned images.
With the app installed, you can quickly establish a direct, secure connection with a compatible Ricoh multifunction printer without registering your smart device or joining your organisation’s network.
How does it work?
It couldn’t be easier. If you’ve got an Apple device then simply scan a unique QR code on the printer. If you have an Android device then switch on your NFC function and swipe the QR code. Once you’ve established a connection you can then easily print, scan, and share documents using the app’s intuitive user interface and send scans over email using the address book in your smart device.
